About Me
Making art provides me with both a productive and beautiful way to process my feelings, thoughts and emotions. I attempt to convey subtle themes of grief and darkness in my artwork, using the stark contrast of deep darkness against the bright and colorful foreground of my paintings.
Inspiration
I was raised by my late artist mother, who herself was inspired by the natural beauty of our home—the Oregon coast. From her I received an ever-evolving and deep love of art and the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
Vision
I aim to use different mediums together along with contrasting colors and subjects on canvas to create an overall theme of purposeful chaos, in an attempt to display the complex emotions that loss and love can create in a person.
